Boxing legend Tony Bellew slammed the scoring from last night's fight.

He said: “The judges are gonna cloud Catterall’s moment. I had it a really close fight.

"That 117-111 twice is a disgrace.

"Two wrongs don’t make a right. Just because wrong was done to Catterall two years ago, doesn’t make it right to do that to Taylor tonight.”

Jack Catterall: Victory 'bittersweet'

Jack Catterall explained his mixed feelings following his victory last night.

He told DAZN: "It's bittersweet tonight. No world titles but I won the fight, we can close that chapter with Josh Taylor.

"I believe I won the fight, I took more risks. Josh is an elite operator but I went through the gears, and even the rounds I was more reserved I was landing clean.

"It was a fight of two halves. I had a few little niggles in there but I won the night. A lot of respect to Josh he had his extra weeks and we wanted him at his best. We've shared 24 rounds together."

Josh Taylor told DAZN: "I thought it was a great fight, fair play to Jack he boxed a better fight tonight but I thought I just nicked it.

"Given the controversy in the first fight that's probably what played into the judges' minds. But let's do a third one.

Two of the judges had a big gap between the two fighters, which seemed way off after this close bout.
